God's Gift of Salvation                 Download Printable Tract: God's Gift of Salvation

My Friend:
Is there any danger in delaying your acceptance of Jesus Christ? Your joy or sorrow for all eternity depends upon the answer. Yes, there is a danger, “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth” (Proverbs 27:1). If you should die, would you know if you are going to Heaven? Are you saved? These are not questions of how good you are, or if you are a church member, but of a relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

God says in order to go to Heaven, “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7). The complete plan of being born again, which means to be saved, is so simple to get, that all you have to do is ask for it.

But first, you must realize you are a sinner. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). This includes eternal separation from God in Hell.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). God sent Jesus, who knew no sin, to bear your sin and die in your place.

God commands all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30). This repentance is a change of mind that admits your sin, and a turning toward Godly ways.

So what must you do to be saved? And they said “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.”

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name (John 1:12).

God be merciful to me a sinner.

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and that life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life (1 John 5:11-12).

That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full (1 John 1:3-4)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John1:9).

Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven (Matthew 10:32).

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8).

For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

Do not trust your feelings because they will change. Stand on God’s promises, they never change.

If you would like to accept the Lord, just pray a simple prayer like:

Oh Lord, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me and come into my heart and life. Thank you for being my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, Amen.

After you are saved, there are three things to practice Daily for spiritual growth: Pray – you talk to God. Read your Bible – God talks to you. Witness – you talk for God.

You should be baptized which shows obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Then unite with a Bible believing church.
