LOG LANE COMMUNITY CHURCH WEEKLY BULLETIN
Sunday, January 7, 2007

Coming Soon

High Plains School of Ministry
Revelation Study
New classes will start on Monday January 15 @ 6:30 P. M.
The lesson this semester is a study of the book of Revelation.
You will be blessed if you take this class. Today is the last day to register.
You can earn a three year diploma in Biblical Studies

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 (RVR)
15 Procura con diligencia presentarte a Dios aprobado, como obrero que no tiene de qué avergonzarse, que usa bien la palabra de verdad.

How important is it to know God’s Word? We see so many people today who claim to know the Word of God yet they are failing to fulfill His great plan for their lives.

At Log Lane Community Church we believe that everything done in the Church needs the support of Scripture. The Bible says,

Matthew 24:4 (KJV)
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Matthew 24:4 (RVR)
4 Respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Mirad que nadie os engañe.

It also says, “…They shall deceive the very elect” [Matt. 24:24]

My heart’s desire for you is that you learn God’s Word.

Overheard – To A Chocolate Malt

O perfect blend, tall, tempting, cool
Get thee behind me with all haste;
For I have learned in life’s hard school
That taste makes waist!

My Church

Its seats will be filled, if I help fill them.
It will be friendly, if I am.
It will do a great work, if I work.
It will bring others to know Christ, if I bring them.
It will be a church of loyalty and love, of fearlessness
And faith, and a Church with a noble spirit,
If I, who make it what it is am filled with these.

Psalms 1:1-6 (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalms 1:1-6 (RVR)
1 Bienaventurado el varón que no anduvo en consejo de malos, Ni estuvo en camino de pecadores, Ni en silla de escarnecedores se ha sentado;
