CHRIST FOR PRISONERS WEEKLY BULLETIN
Sunday, April 6, 2008

The following is my prayer:

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you...

To desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

para que andéis como es digno del Señor, agradándole en todo, llevando fruto en toda buena obra, y creciendo en el conocimiento de Dios;

fortalecidos con todo poder, conforme a la potencia de su gloria, para toda paciencia y longanimidad;

Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;;

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

para que os dé, conforme a las riquezas de su gloria, el ser fortalecidos con poder en el hombre interior por su Espíritu;

Colossians 1:9-11 (KJV); Ephesians 1:16-18 (KJV); Ephesians 3:16-20 (KJV)

I pray that you will come to a place in your spiritual life that you will trust God in everything. Where are you in this walk of faith?

If you don’t tithe are you really living by faith?

If you don’t attend church, are you really living by faith?

If you do no work for God, are you really living by faith.

Test of faith:

James 2:14-18 (KJV)
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James 2:14-18 (RVR)
